Born in London of Greek parentage, George trained as an actor at the prestigious Drama Centre London under Christopher Fettes and Yat Malgrem - the school that boasts Paul Bettany, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth amongst their alumni.

On Screen...

May 2011 George just finished filming season 2 of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret reprising his role of Osman.


Dec 2010 George plays Pete, a cockney talking London Greek boy, for an in-house short at the BBC directed by Lawrence Moody.

June 2010 - George films Todd Margaret - written by, and starring, David Cross (Arrested Development), with Will Arnett (30 ROCK) and Sharon Horgan. Air date November 2010.

May 2010 - George stars in the opening episode of series 9 of 'SPOOKS' (M-i5, starring Max Brown and Sophia Myles) for the BBC, where he plays the role of Theo, an engineer that is caught up in a pirate takeover, but manages to save the day! The series airs in the UK October 2010.

In 2009, George played Omar in episode 13 (Honour Bound) of 'LAW & ORDER: UK', starring Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) and Harriet Walter, for both British and US TV.

Due to the overwhelming success of MAMMA MIA! the movie, you probably saw George playing Panos in the worldwide smash hit starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth.

George also worked with Marina Sertis (Star Trek) and Peter Polycarpou (Birds of a Feather), taking on a leading role in a new pilot series 'BUBBLES' which is currently in development in New York.

For the BBC, George acted alongside Johnny Lee Miller in the period drama BYRON, directed by Julian Farino; he also starred in the film 'DIRTY WAR', directed by Daniel Percival.

On Stage...

June 2011 George plays the male lead role of Baraq - captain of the Israelite army in a new play 'The Song of Deborah' at the Lowry Theatre directed by Abbey Wright.

George recently played the lead role of Floyd in the UK premiere of 'CHICKEN' by Mike Batistick at Theatro Technis, which then transferred to the Hackney Empire, and now has a planned transfer for the Trafalgar Studios in June 2011. George went on to star in a leading role in the world premiere of Mike Batistick's 'BODEGA LUNG FAT' at the Hackney Empire. After the run-away success of 'CHICKEN', with George receiving rave reviews, the stage play is now in script development and will be made into a feature where George will reprise the leading role on screen.

In 'OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD', George played Ralph for director Abbey Wright at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. In 2009, he went on to play a lead in the London premiere of 'SHADOW LANGUAGE', directed by Tim Stark, at Theatre 503. George took on a leading role in Cosh Omar's critically acclaimed 'THE BATTLE OF GREEN LANES' at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. He was also part of Peter Hall's company for the 'THE BACCHAE' at the Royal National Theatre, starring Greg Hicks. In 2006, he acted alongside Placido Domingo in the sell-out season of the opera 'CYRANO DE BERGERAC' at the Royal Opera House, directed by Francesco Zambello.

George enjoys working with emerging directors and writers and regularly takes part in readings and workshops at different theatres, including the Royal Court, Young Vic, Theatre Royal, Globe Theatre, Soho Theatre, and Arcola, to name but a few.

George is in possession of an 01 Visa, so currently lives between L.A. and London.
